Answer three quick questions for a useful shortlist.
In solo mining, ordinary shares do not create a proportional payout. What matters is a valid block result at network difficulty. More hashrate means more independent attempts.
PPLNS distributes a found pool block according to a rolling share window. It is not guaranteed income: without a pool block, there is no corresponding block payout.
BTC, BCH, XEC and DGB's SHA256d branch use ASIC-oriented hashing. Signum instead uses capacity-based mining with prepared HDD/SSD plots.
